Can a portrait upend stereotypes about a culture? If someone were to ask if you knew what a Colombian looks like, would you be able to conjure up an image? Would the inhabitants of a single geographical place convey what a whole nation looks like? Or may they just represent what a small sampling of a single community within a country looks like?
These are portraits of revelers of Poblado Park, a popular night hang-out of artists, musicians, college students, and others in Medellin, Colombia. All photographs are taken under available light.
And here is Panorama from Medellin.
